what to do now?

Well it seems Christmas has come as fast as I could blink! With the end of the year comes the end of the market... so sad! So now I will have till April to "keep myself busy"! I just bought a ton of new fabrics today and I am really excited to get started on some new things for the website and next spring! I am also getting serious about working on my new line of pet products! I am thinking leashes, collars and dog beds to start. I think it will be a good addition to the pet portion of the Urbane Living line.
Chad has been busy working on the home portion. He has been making beautiful picture frames out of reclaimed wood. He received several tools for Christmas for frame making! I told him we are going to call his frame line "reclaim to frame" (haha get it?) anyway- I am looking forward to the new year and the possibilities!

13 days of Christmas

Well, its official! Christmas is right around the corner! I can't believe it. The market was great today with everyone finishing up their "second to last minute" shopping! Sunday market tomorrow is cancelled so I will be very busy filling orders for monday.
Only two more days at the market and I am getting sad! I am going to focus my energy this break on trying to get into boutiques and stores! And of course take time in February to enjoy the birth of my newest model (my new niece or nephew!)
Off to make some tutus and enjoy a Christmas movie!

keepin up with the times!

Dear All,
I am trying to get on the technology bandwagon! I have been a facebooker and myspacer for years but now a days if you want to run a biz you have to facebook, myspace, blog and tweet! That is a full time job in itself! I am proud to say that I am finally a "tweeter?" ! I am keeping this blog to keep everyone updated on the biz and keep record of this journey of building a small biz! I'm sure Martha kept journals! I hope to stay active in writing and updating on my progress!
love,
liz
